ABSTRACT SUBMISSION

Med-e-Tel 2011 Online Abstract Submission

Welcome and thank you for your interest to actively participate in the 9th annual Med-e-Tel event.

Med-e-Tel encourages healthcare providers, medical practitioners, nursing professionals, government officials, researchers, educators, and industry representatives to submit presentation proposals for the Med-e-Tel 2011 conference program.
For a list of topics, see the Med-e-Tel 2011 call for abstracts. Submissions on additional topics, relevant to the fields of Telemedicine and eHealth will be considered too.
Especially practical experiences and business cases, as well as position papers, ongoing research, national/international policy guidelines and project results will be of interest to the Med-e-Tel audience.

The deadline for abstract submission is 10 December 2010.

Med-e-Tel 2010 takes place on 6-8 April 2011 at the Luxexpo Exhibition and Congress Center in Luxembourg. You are required to keep these dates available in your agenda until notified of acceptance of your proposal (by 17 December 2010).

The submission of an abstract, carries with it the obligation to actually present it at Med-e-Tel 2011 (if selected). If you, as a submitter, or your co-author(s) may not be in a position to meet this obligation, please notify us upon submission of your abstract, so that we may find a suitable solution.

When your presentation is accepted, you will be required to register for the conference (a special speaker registration fee is available). On-site payment at the event itself will only be possible at the normal (visitor) registration fee (no special speaker registration fee available for on-site payment).
Note that you will be responsible for your own registration, travel and accommodation arrangements and expenses.

Accepted abstracts will be published on the Med-e-Tel website.

When your abstract is accepted, you will also be given the opportunity to provide a full length paper for publication into "Global Telemedicine and eHealth Updates: Knowledge Resources, Vol. 4", a peer reviewed book, as well as into the Med-e-Tel 2011 Proceedings CD-ROM. This paper must be submitted by 31 January 2011 LATEST (more details will be provided after acceptance of your abstract).

Also your PowerPoint presentation will need to be submitted in advance of the event (by 15 March 2011). Details will also follow after acceptance of your abstract. The PowerPoint presentation will be posted on the Med-e-Tel website.

By checking this box, I agree with the above procedures and conditions.
